1930's: Kline's Clothing Department Store
Larkfield Road, East Northport, New York 11731
- Kline's Clothing Department Store, where my grandfather had his second Barber Shop. Located just to the left of the big building in the center.
- There he was hired and latter he bought the business from the owner.
- The effects of the Depression were felt in East Northport, as they were in every other part of the country. The WPA (Works Projects Administration) employed local men who constructed sidewalks, curbs and several local schools.
